3rd Steering Group meeting of NTS and Best Practice Programme

On 3-4 May 2006, in Vadul lui Voda, the 3^rd Steering Group meeting on the development of a National Training Strategy and a Best Practice programmes for local government in Moldova took place.

Objectives of the meeting:

National Training Strategy (NTS)

To examine and discuss the activity which was implemented so far
To examine and finalise the draft NTS
To identify the main implications of the NTS
To decide on the follow-up to the activity

Best Practice Programme

To select the Best Practice municipalities on the basis of the proposal made by the Selection Panel
To discuss the National Awards Ceremony: guests, ideas, strategy, draft agenda and practical arrangement
To discuss the channels for the dissemination of the Best Practices
To consider and discuss the involvement of potential donors in supporting the dissemination activities within Best Practice Programme
